MESARGEN stands as an international consortium committed to exploring various research dimensions related to the genomics of sarcoidosis. With a commitment to rigorous scientific methodology and clinical significance, our foremost aim is to unravel the complex genetic composition of sarcoidosis and its target-organ phenotypes, also known as endophenotypes. Moreover, we endeavor to elucidate the genetic heterogeneity influencing the clinical course of sarcoidosis, explore the immunogenetic mechanisms dictating downstream effects and comorbidities, and identify prospective biomarkers crucial for accurate diagnosis and efficient treatment strategies.
