Objectives
MESARGEN seeks to translate research findings on sarcoidosis from comprehensive omics studies into advancements in clinical and personalized medicine. Our goals are to:
- Establishing an international framework for research utilizing omics technologies in partnership with the ERS-funded SARCOIDOMICS Network.
- Investigating the molecular factors of sarcoidosis and clinical phenotypes (endophenotypes).
- Exploring the genomic architecture of the heterogeneity underlying sarcoidosis and clinical phenotypes.
- Providing a robust research platform for integrating large-scale data sets and sharing results.
- Facilitating the translation of research discoveries to the clinic.
- Disseminating scientific knowledge to patients and sarcoidosis patient groups.
